How Testosterone Affects Men’s Health

If you have low testosterone, you may be struggling with symptoms like loss of energy, irritability or depression, increased body fat, or decreased libido. While these issues often get in the way of daily life, peptide therapy can help you combat low T symptoms and start feeling like yourself again.

Peptide therapy is a safe, convenient, effective option for men struggling with low T. With this treatment, you’ll experience an increase in muscle mass, pain relief, or improved libido.

Your doctor will help you choose the right peptide for your needs:

  • CJC-1295/Ipamorelin (for increasing natural HGH and muscle mass)
  • BPC-157 (for healing and regeneration)
  • PT-141 Bremelanotide (for improved sexual function)

Read on to learn about the benefits of our peptide therapy options, possible side effects (which your doctor can help you mitigate), and what to expect from the treatment.

CJC-1295/Ipamorelin

These two peptides work together to increase naturally produced HGH (human growth hormone) levels. The combination can achieve this by acting in two different families of receptors.

CJC-1295/Ipamorelin is a combination of two peptides:

  1. CJC-1295 promotes muscle tissue growth and increased muscle mass. It is a synthetically produced peptide that increases protein synthesis and insulin-like growth factor levels.
  2. Ipamorelin mimics ghrelin and binds to the ghrelin receptor in the brain’s pituitary gland. As it stimulates one side of the pituitary gland, Ipamorelin produces natural growth hormone.

Benefits

  • Decreased body fat
  • Increased lean muscle mass
  • Better athletic performance and muscle recovery
  • Improved sleep
  • More collagen production
  • Increased cellular repair and regeneration

Possible Side Effects

Although rare, some possible side effects may include:

  • Head rush or flushing
  • Nausea
  • Slight irritation at the injection site
  • Headaches

Your medical professional will walk you through these potential side effects and help you mitigate or avoid them as much as possible.

What to Expect

If you think CJC-1295/Ipamorelin therapy may be right for you, here are the steps you’ll follow to begin your treatment:

  • First, schedule a free, same-day testosterone screening. This will take less than five minutes at your local testosterone therapy clinic.
  • If you qualify for peptide therapy, you’ll meet with a medical team for a full evaluation to ensure your body is ready for treatment.
  • During treatment, a medical professional will thoroughly clean the area where they plan to place the injection (usually the upper hip or glutes).
  • Then, he or she will administer the therapy by subcutaneous injection once or twice daily, Monday through Friday.
  • A small dose will be administered in the morning and a larger dose right before bedtime.

Note: You should have all injections on an empty stomach, an hour before or an hour after eating. Patients usually take CJC-1295/Ipamorelin for 12 to 16 weeks for best results.
